We will be running our Resin Workshops at Dr David Harvey Sutton Gallery.
The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Cloncurry Shire Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland.
What.
INTRO RESIN ART WORKSHOP - choose one:
40cm tray or 40cm lazy susan - $100pp
Cheeseboard + coasters - $80pp
Our popular Resin Art Workshop is a great starting point for anyone wanting to start using resin from home (or just for the day!). Our team covers everything you need to know from safety, products, techniques, industry tips & tricks and guide you to unleash the inner artist you may not have known existed!
Get more technical and learn how to create those effects that are swarming the internet!
This is also a great option if you’ve dabbled with resin and would like a bit more direction or know-how knowledge.
INTERMEDIATE RESIN ART WORKSHOP - choose one:
For participants returning from our 2023 workshops or those who also do an intro class on 28th June - PLEASE NOTE: this class is not designed for beginners and no beginner instruction will be provided
Create a 50cm geode and add crystals/gems ($120pp)
Create a 60cm surfboard and add waves/sand/shells ($120pp)
Create a 40×50cm rectangle with a 3D laser cut turtle, add waves/sand/shells ($120pp)
• Unfortunately, our events are not suitable for anyone who is or may be pregnant due to our materials
• 12-15 years and over (if accompanied by a ticketed parent)
• 16 years and over (no accompanying parent required)
Please note: by purchasing a ticket (and unless otherwise stated**), you are giving permission to RRW ART and Cloncurry Shire Council to use film/photographs of you for our websites, social media and other promotional material.
**You will be asked at the beginning of your class if you consent to this, please inform us if you do not.
SUNDAY 28th JUNE at Dr David Harvey Sutton Gallery
1-3pm INTRO: choose one: cheeseboard + coasters, 40cm lazy susan, 40cm tray
4.30-6.30pm INTERMEDIATE:choose one: 50cm geode with gems, 60cm surfboard with waves/sand/shells, 40×50cm rectangle with 3D laser cut turtle with waves/sand/shells - please only choose intermediate options if you attended our workshop in 2023 or our 1-3pm class on 28th June.
Due to suppliers costs, no refunds are provided. If you’re no longer able to join us, you’re welcome to transfer your ticket to someone of your nomination
Not suitable for pregnancy
Boards will need to stay overnight to dry - collection time will be advised ASAP
14 years (with a ticketed parent - you both need to buy a ticket), 16+ no ticketed parent required

FAQs
What to bring?
Just yourself! All premium products, supplies & tools are provided. PPE is included.
What will I receive?
We provide all the premium materials to make your resin creations. Your boards will be pre-prepped and fitted with everything that is needed to use from home. Education from a full-time Resin Artist with at least one additional team member at each workshop to ensure hands-on learning, help and advice.
Please note: Your artwork will need to stay overnight to dry, you will be required to collect (or have someone collect for you) at the venue the next day.
What to wear?
Not your Sunday best! Aprons and gloves are provided but we’re working with resin (which doesn’t wash out) so keep that in mind. Please make sure your hair is tied up.

By attending any RRW Art Resin Workshop you agree that the information received verbally or in written format will not be reproduced, distributed or replicated in a workshop environment.
Cancellation Policy
If you are no longer able to join us, you are able to:
Transfer to someone of your nomination (collection of their fees is your responsibility)
Please note: no refunds will be issued, due to supplier cost.
